How about an opponent who can present a credible challenge, because Haye certainly isn't it. This would be purely for the money. There is absolutely no other reason to make this fight.

Haye does offer a challenge even with all the bravado and trash talk Vitali has said Wlad underestimated David Haye

If you think stepping in the ring with someone as fast as Haye and powerful is not a challenge, then i dont no what to say.

Vitali doesnt use his jab like Wlad, he likes to get in and throw big bombs, someone with Hayes speed and power could trouble Vitali.

Vitali is not fast as his brother, doesnt have the footwork nor is he powerful as his brother, but he has a very strong chin. Haye can cause a lot of problems for Vitali, even with his in and out style, yes ofcourse there is more chance of him getting knocked out because Vitali likes to come at you, but this also can work against someone who has knee problems and is getting old

If the fight were to happen, it'd be the fastest opponent Vitali has ever fought, also Haye would be forced to fight

Haye was practically shut out. He needs to work his way back before getting a shot at ANY title.

Fine, than you have to admit how terribly weak this era is if thats the case. I personally feel Demitreno, Arreola Chambers or Thompson are better choices. At least these guys have proved they could come back after losses and fight ampngs the top 10. Haye hasn't proved he can do that yet.
