How comes Americans didn't flame Hopkin's for refusing to do OST?

I've also been aware of AA implementing testing in his contracts. I also remember both Ward and Green making these statements which is why I asked you for the reason the testing that was supposedly requested by AA, back when he and Ward fought, didn't happen. This also doesn't make sense seeing that Ward has been very vocal about having OST implemented in his next fight against Froch.

Again, with Dirrell's situation, this test was requested after the fight. If it was before a contract was signed and Dirrell said no, then that would be much different. But I read nowhere in the build up to the fight that it was requested of Dirrell and he refused. On top of that, I understand if AA wanted a test after the fight just out of principle but I can't see his request being made out of performance, especially considering how it all ended.

Why doesn't it make sense? Being vocal about testing issue is not the same as taking nor does it mean you're clear.

Again people can be supportive about such testing. Doesn't mean that they're clean or are willing to actually do it when push comes to shove. Unless they actually do it.

Therefore, Hopkins has never lied about agreeing to testing, although he's been in full support of testing on the issue.

Right, because steroids was a big issue in sports when they fought.

Steroids have around every major sport since the late 70's, early 80's. Just because they weren't spoken about does not mean they weren't used. Only a fool would think otherwise. In 1995 Botha tested positive. In 2000 both Roy Jones and Richard Hall tested positive. on 2002 Vargas was positive. This isn't something new to the sport.

After the Hatton and Cotto fight, I was saying Mayweather Sr. was a crock for thinking Pacquiao was juicing. I couldn't care less whether the guy is 'roiding or not... I do have a problem with a guy constantly lying on record and then not delivering when it matters. Just look at the dates you put in your post of the boxers that were caught. When did all the MLB players get caught? More NFL players are getting caught nowadays. The Olympics have been cracking down on competitors on a wider scale with the progression of testing procedures. Again, I never said nobody was using steroids then, what I'm saying is that now, currently, sports is under the microscope to a higher degree now that more athletes have been popped for PEDs then they were back in '96-'97. I think most if not all professional world level boxers use or have used steroids, most are actively using. There's no problem with that, at all. But like I stated before, Hopkins was never requested to submit to random drug testing, be it a decade ago or today. Until somebody asks him to do so and he rejects, then I'll question him especially since he's stated that he'd test before.

I'd rather you provide a link. Or just tell me why the testing didn't happen?
