  • Conspiracy: One Of The Williams-Lara Judges Violated The Ali Act

Hilton Whittaker III, who scored the fight for Williams, also happens to be the President of the USBO and an IBO representative which is a conflict of interest and a direct violation of the Ali Act if he were allowed to judge a bout.

If you go to the boxrec page for the fight, Armstrong is listed as a judge with a hyperlink for his name. When you click on these hyperlinks it normally takes you to a list of fights they have judged so you can see their scorecards.

In this case if you click on Armstrong's name you get a page with nothing on it. It doesn't even link you to the Williams-Lara result. See for yourself.

So one of two things happened here.

    1) Hilton Armstrong was allowed to illegally judge a boxing match despite being an official of a ranking body

    or

    2) Somebody else, who is supposed to remain anonymous, scored the fight and it was instead listed under Armstrong's name to disguise the actual culprit.

      In this case absolutely.

It makes no sense how this can be excused.

Looks like a class-action lawsuit could happen for those who put money on Lara to win it. Lara can also sue.

How is it a conflict of interest? And what part of the Ali act did it violate?

also, you find his fights here.

You linked the boxrec wiki. The wiki is supposed to be community made. Nobody simply has bothered to work on their entries.
