So then how do you know he went above the commission?IDK how much the guarantee was...They purse doesn't count PPV upside...It only counts the guarantee...Also it wasn't 500k total or 3mil total it was per pound...So in reality hypothetically it could have the whole purse if they came in 3 or 4 pounds over. And, that's beyond the commission rules sir...Do you not understand that? And, in Oscar case...Even fraction of a pound would be 3mil. A fraction, did you see in part of the rules where it says "except if it is less than a pound"?
Please try again.
You don't.
I understand fully. Manny isn't using these things as make or break deals.
At the time those fights were made, DLH and Morales were the bigger stars. He had no position to say, "its my way or the highway". They agreed to it because they simply wanted to fight. He made some adjustments within the context of the rules, but he didn't make his own commission and say, "my way or no fight". He actually fought them.
Floyd is saying, "you have to do this and you have to do it the way I say, or no fight".
Huge difference.

The $10M dollar penalty was a demand that was made to avoid the fight at that time because Roach didn't believe they were ready for March 2010, But that backfired when Mayweather said Okay.. If Mayweather had said No Team PAC would have said Mayweather ducked the fight but that potential roadblock was removed when Mayweather agree to it.... So Team Pac had to go back on the already agreed to OSDT.
So would didn't he ask for his whole purse then?
The only road block, was from Mayweather, cause fights are happening REGULARLY, under the procedures that are in place, so there is no reason this fight shouldn't be happening under the same conditions, if its good enough for everyone else.Comment

The same difference it makes to force the commission to make the champ put their 147 lb. title on the line at 145 lbs.
Two completely different weight classes.Comment

Link please? He basically said the commission is inept to handle over the weight penalty....So he went beyond the commission. And, set up his OWN penalties for said fights....
Again what Pac said was the commission penalties are garbage...And, had to set up his Pacquiao commission.
So ask the ****** questions again. So I can keep giving you the correct answers...And, we could go back and forth until you finally get that Pac went beyond the commission to set up his own penalties.Comment

People aint taken back by the fact Manny asked for a weight stipulation penalty that Floyd agreed to, and that, that somehow means he should agree to Floyd's OST, they are taken back by the AMOUNT of money he's asking for in this stipulation, and as we have discovered, that is only so high, because Mayweather has been guilty of cheating the fact before, and that is your thread ladies and gentlemenComment
