At least put gesta is with a fringe contender, decent aging ex champ, or another up amd coming lw. They're setting this kid up putting him in wit vazquez, a world class lw. These morons in this thread need to go to ringtv and see their top 10 lw's. Of that list, the unheard of brit is the only one that wpupdnt run gesta put of the ring right now. Lw is deeeeep.

He's not even fighting gatekeeper types. The dude he just beat 2x in a row is utter garbage. Like shouldnt be licensed to fight pro fights anymore garbage. Gesta is a talent no doubt, but he's not some wonderkid that can step up against reAl pros in one of the deepest divisions in boxing. People need to just stop it. Lol at the bullshi t they type. Like comparing him to ortiz and saying "anyone can win fights".

Gesta has a chance to be a beltholer or champ in the future, putting him in with vazquez/acosta/bam bam(like some moron said)/antillon/even demarco could derail his whole career. Specially bam bam.

i would like for gesta to have more fights before he takes on a title fight but if arum puts him in there, vasquez is the best option for him. i'm not so big on vasquez...he's tall and long but his style is kinda awkward and sloppy. and he doesn't really have a serious ko power compared to the other 135 lbs champs.

gesta is confident which is good but so far he hasn't been truly tested with his previous opponents. he showed some skills though and his combinations are looking good. just not sure about his chin and toughness since he'd been matched with mexican bums most of the time.

anyway if the gesta-vasquez will push through i would surely be rooting for gesta and would be taking bets from mex posters here in nsb

Vazquez UD

Vazquez is probably going to win by wide UD.
He is one of my favorite fighters he has good speed throws a lot of punches and he is very difficult to hit if he only had more power in his punches he would dominate at 135.
