im glad to see him champion again having been in there with guys like penalosa and vasquez but im not sure Gamboa is the best idea, Gonzalez was close to reaching journeyman status at one point to me but hes rebounded well,

Its not Gamboa's fault the corrupt organizations stripped him of both of his titles. He's more of a champion than anyone in the division, even without titles. What did Gonzalez do? Knock out a guy on his second fight above 118?
If titles really meant that much, then guys like Sergio Martinez would have to suck up to guys like Daniel Geale.Last edited by BoxerDood; 07-10-2011, 05:30 PM.Comment

Jhonny Gonzalez is a p4p one of the hardest punchers.........
He'd have a chance in this fight..............

But he's been there for almost four years. This was Hasegawa's second fight. What has Gonzalez done aside from that victory? Beat the crappy version of Montiel that didn't throw any punches? Gamboa should be the one calling the shots here. He's done much more. Its not his fault they stripped him of both of his titles.Comment
