Canello n poise should not be in da same sentence. I guess all his team cares bout is da W! Vanes has alot of Mexican fans and respects them as much as his Armenian fans. Not about race...Mexicans just love boxing in general n want to see a good fight. Guess Reynoso doesnt care about the fans. WEAK!

Gomez will be a side note showcase fight for Canelo on the Floyd-Ortiz undercard.

If it was a main event I might be a little angrier.

At least, the promotional tour for a Canelo vs Mayorga fight would be exciting or a Canelo vs Vanes fight would be a legit fight. But a Canelo vs Gomez fight is another boring night for boxing and this will be on HBO? Good night, I'm going to be early that night then.

There has to be a damn better fight out there than Gomez!!! For Pete's sake Reynoso!!! I almost want to say throw Alvarez in against Carlos Molina. I think that would be a great fight. Carlos always comes to fight!!! Problem is, though: 1) Molina has fought three times in the past four months and most definitely needs a rest, and 2) Reynoso knows Molina is a hard man who has a good shot at wearing Alvarez down... All I know is that they better fight someone who is a real 154er and better fight Vanes at the end of the year!!!

Canelo needs an exciting fight. Guy fights the most boring fighters in the world. And I feel bad for him because he usually carries the fight all by his lonesome self. He needs a dancing partner to make the fight memorable. He needs a Ricardo Mayorga fight that people will talk about and praise what an exciting match up it is. Canelo's fights of 2011 are all boring and none are memorable enough to be remembered in a good light.
