Ironic comments by Roy Jones Jr.

Did anybody catch Roy saying he hopes Paul Williams retires because he was taking so many big shots and appears to be declining?
I found this kind of an odd statement coming from Roy who along with Evander Holyfield has practically written the book on staying way, way past ones time as a top fighter and or is wise in terms of health.

There is a lot of irony to that statement because Roy should have retired a long time ago. But Jones is not taking the same type of punishment or eating the number of big punches Paul Williams has been taking in his career. Jones in his prime was rarely hit at all. Now he takes takes one big shot and goes out. Williams because of his solid chin takes a large number of them. Both should retire. No doubt about that.
