A boxing match is 12 rounds long, at any time, you have the ability to take your destiny in your own hands, a Knock a guy out, if you don't and you happen to lose... TOUGH FAWKIN' TITTY!

In all honesty, i thought Lara did enough to win tonight. But the fact of the matter is, although he landed the cleaner more effective shots for the majority of the bout, Williams seemed unaffected by them, and continually kept on the pressure and probably created an impression in the judges mind that Lara was RUNNING throughout the entire match, while Williams constantly came forward throwing tons of punches, which i can see how judges would interpret this as RING GENERALSHIP & EFFECTIVE AGGRESSION.

    WILLIAMS WON TONIGHT.

MMA has the same problem, man. And at least they get paid decent money in boxing, whereas in MMA a dude headlined a pay-per-view a week ago and was paid $20,000 to show and $20,000 to win. Main event guy paid that... just let that sink in for a moment.

But yeah... all combat sports have their problems with judges. It's apart of the game, unfortunately.

Lara was definitely robbed, though, but at least he was still able to show he's a force to be reckoned with at Jr. Middleweight. I just hope this decision doesn't affect his motivation or anything like that, and only makes him hungrier.

You mean he still holds his right arm low and doesn't know defense still?

I think I jinxed it...right before the decision I threw a joke and said, "watch them rob Lara hahahaha" and had a good laugh...then when i heard 114-114, i KNEW something was wrong. This is one of the worse decisions I've EVER seen. Lara won that by a ****ing landslide. You'd have to be a deaf, blind, mute amputee to even THINK Williams was close to winning that fight.

Well put...I agree with every word.

If a fight's close, the subjective nature of judging is going to always leave some fans dissatisfied. Those happen. As you say, it's part of the game. In the case of a clear robbery...maybe it's time someone was held accountable. (Hey, one can dream right?)

Anyway, after that lackluster performance against Molina, Lara is back in the spotlight. Good for him.

He threw over 1,000 tonight. Most of those punches hit air tho.

And now you're on a boxing website posting how you don't watch boxing anymore. I'm sure you never really started watching boxing to begin with, get a life.

His performance might not have been the greatest in that fight but both Lara and Molinas stock rose tonight. Molina clowned Cintron.
