Povetkin with his bear power and low stamina, will UD passed his prime Chagaev. Chagaev is out of shape and can box no more than 5-7 rounds. after that, he will try not to get knocked out.

Chagaev is over the hill so Povetkin SHOULD win.

I would like Povetkin to win but i haven't seen enough of both fighters to really make a prediction.

It's going to be an awesome Sauerland card on August 27:

          Chagaev-Povetkin
          Helenius-Lyakhovich

Chagaev's chances have improved now that Teddy Atlas is going over to work with Povetkin and be in his corner on Aug 27.

            Prime Chagaev beats Povetkin.

Current shot Chagaev will get outworked and beaten up by Povetkin.

Alas Povetkin finally stepped up the competition after 'stepping it down' several years ago. Although I don't agree with some of career moves, but I like Alexander Povetkin and have been following him since he was a touted prospect back in '06. Stylistically, he's a technically solid boxer and is kind of pressure fighter. He packs average power and he's got good endurance.

My prediction is that he grinds out a tough decision win or late stoppage...

Did you guys see Chagaev's last fight? It was a great fight but it seemed like he went 'life and death (and I maybe overstating it)' against journeyman Travis Walker...

Chagaev at least still has his great chin.

He was caught flush many times by Walker, who is a big puncher and the only person to ever knock Chris Arreola down.

Nevertheless, to barely beat a journeyman like Walker proves he is no longer world class.
