Whats all the problems with what happens if we get a positive test , its obvious what happens , fight is off and that fighter is stripped of his boxing license , his name is mud and his accomplishments are worthless in the eyes of the world , why is Arum even asking what happens , asking seems very su****ious to me if your adamant that your fighter is clean then the " what if " is not an issue .

In my opinion, Bob Arum is killing Manny's reputation. As much as I like Manny as a fighter, Arum is really turning me off to him. There should not be any complications or confusion about a random blood test. When Arum throw in these stipulations, it makes Manny look somewhat guilty of using perfomance enhancing drugs. Also, the selection of his last 3 opponents were down right embarressing. I'm rooting for Marquez in his next fight.But, the cards are already stacked against him. I think its time for Manny to step up and just say he will fight Mayweather under any circumstances to prove to Floyd that he's the better fighter and show the world that he is clean. I'm starting to think that Manny has been cheating, or he doesn't truthfully think he can beat Floyd. Floyd will be taking the exact same tests.His last 3 opponents took the test, so why not Manny? It will insure that the fight is clean and fair.Maybe they are waitng for Floyd to slow down. And with all this talk about Floyd fighting Khan next, if that happens, Floyd might not be the same fighter afterwards. That would be 2 tough young opponents in a row for him.Meantime Manny is fighting older guys past their prime. It time for people to look at this for what it is. Bob Arum is an ******* and it is him and Manny who are keeping this fight from happening.

You're talking nonsense. These are the flesh and bones of negotiations. ALL fights, certainly all major ones, have weeks and months of negotiations, with a multitude of conditions and clauses with sub sections )a,b,c etc) if you'd ever seen even a simple contract you would be astonished at the highly insignificant and unlikely items included in it.

Don't forget these contracts are the products of the brains and ingenuity of LAWYERS. For me, although I spent years in Law, an American lawyer is a "dirty word", They try to "outcrook" each other. A perfect example was the O.J. Simpson trial.

They have aides going over contracts of previous years to try to find something that they haven't though of, and then make sure it's inserted. The more complicated the contract, the more money the lawyer can charge for it; the average guy is completely helpless.

When you go to a lawyer for what should be a very ordinary piece of legal work, you are charged an "arm-and-a-leg". The contract or document you receive looks impressive, but is most likely just taken off an already printed up stack, on a shelf in the storeroom, with a few personal details of your own filled in. AND, whatever work done, has most probably been done by an assistant, or glorified office boy, but you are charged for the time of the BOSS...top rate.

Do you know that when (in the USA anyway) a lawyer gets a job in a good law firm, the very first thing he is required to do is to turn in an ALREADY DETERMINED number of "PAID CONSULTING HOURS" EVERY WEEK or MONTH. He is there only on trial. If he doesn't "produce", he's asked to leave. So half his time is figuring how to charge for 35 fictitious hours of work (at top rate) which only took about 3 hours in the Law library. and then probably done by his legal assistant or apprentice.

Why should boxing contracts be different???

When people find a way to show nervousness and a multitude of excuses towards testing,then there is a reason why,unfortunately Pac's fans don't wanna know if the guy that they have been cheerleading for is clean or not-they just don't wanna know!

They find themselves in the same situation as Arum,Freddie Roach and Manny-making excuses to hide their fears and worries that Manny may not be legitimate with what he has accomplished lately.They want to believe that these big accomplishments are real,without considering that they may be from doping and wise matchmaking...after all,if a guy asks for a multitude of advantages,why wouldn't he try to get that extra "secret" advantage just to ensure a victory????

Why don't we next have Floyd dictate body cavity checks in between rounds, turn and coughs in front of the referee, see how many women they can beat up before the fight, make the ring 12 feet larger, make the gloves 32oz, ETC.......... when are *****s gonna stop supporting this racist individual?
