Why not have the USADA do the tests since it is in the USA and have WADA oversee every test since one participant is from another country and we good.

Mayweather didn't just "ask for drug testing"....He asked for, DEMANDED that there should be testing done, that has NEVER before been done, in a professional Boxing match, anywhere in the whole world.

That's a bit different from "just asked for drug testing"....... At least slightly.

One problem though....if Manny's reputation was damaged,why does he always have fights lined up? In fact,he has gotten every fight he picked.It doesn't sound like his rep was damaged enough to cause him financial loss....since the questions of his legitimacy,he has been on the cover of TIME magazine, fought in front of thousands in Dallas (2 times), sold out events, been on talk shows, been proclaimed to be the face of boxing,etc...yet somehow he has sustained damage? Where was this damage taken????

True,there is a faction of people that feel he MAY be a dirty PED user,but it is from his denial and resistance towards drug testing.Now he says he is open to testing,but not USADA-these million new found phobias are getting beyond su****ious.

I'm sure Floyd doesn't give a damn who the testing is done by,but Manny and Arum sure do! I have never heard Floyd say "USADA is the only organization to do the testing",but we now know that Arum and co are putting up more barriers with the randomized testing...btw- can someone tell me how USADA is not neutral???? Just because Floyd and Shane (and now Ortiz) have paid them to do testing does not wreck their credibility.Perhaps Manny would feel comfortable having 2 agencies blood test him?????? lol

To be fair-Manny and Floyd would both be paying for the testing...it doesn't mean that USADA is going to "produce" dirty results.

The same nevada boxing organisation that voted against stringent drug testing, because their expert doctors were scared boxer would get injured from re-used needles...but then how do they draw blood from all boxers when performing health test like hepititis?

That MUST be a lie. Nobody in this world, ESPECIALLY medical doctors, would re-use a needle, except if injecting the medication in more than one place right there and then. Like a dentist might inject AROUND a certain tooth to make sure of spreading the medication properly.

They only people who might do this could be illiterate fighters, but even then, they MUST be well aware of the dangers.

When I was younger, doctors used the same hypodermic syringe for different patients. They were made to be disassembled, which they were, and boiled in an autoclave for about 5 minutes beforehand. I would sit there and watch it bubbling. Had many a course of injections that way.
