You may say that WADA is the governing body of all international meets under the IOC, but for the richest event in the last century to happen, even the president of WADA will have no problem doing it himself... WADA on Olympic season only requires local agencies to do the tests for them and help them because of the sheer number of athletes that were needed to be tested in such a short period of time, but we are only talking about 2 athletes here and it will take maybe an atmost of 2-3 competent staff from WADA to do the job, so now what is wrong with that??... As you say USADA works under the supervision of WADA, so simple logic will say, there is nothing wrong of them asking WADA to do the tests for them...Comment

real sports of hbo already did a documentary on usda and how inadequate they were on detecting steroid users. one time they ban an olympian for using rogaine even though he informed them that he was using rogaineI understand that there is a group of people who feel that TRADA (Top Rank Anti Doping Agency) is more legitimate, competent and unbiased than USADA (United States Anti Doping Agency).
OK, fine.
So, go ahead and name all of the athletes who have been cheated by USADA.

I got this quotes form previous threads, and it shows how incompetent USADA can be....
Quote:
I keep reading how a lot of these Olympic athletes have never tested positive, and how USADA should get off their backs already. But one athlete reportedly testified to the grand jury that he used steroids, and some of the stuff he used was designed to fool the drug tests. Leaking grand jury testimony is deplorable. If USADA's people did that, they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I'm also troubled by how USADA has lessened the burden of proof to sanction an athlete, from a positive test to circumstantial evidence. There's an Oklahoma Land Run quality to USADA's prosecution. But now we're told you can take drugs and still pass the drug tests. So what do we do with that knowledge? How do you catch the people who do that? I've always assumed athletes want their sports to be clean.

Armstrong's attorneys say USADA's current offer is for riders to talk to federal investigator Jeff Novitzky, who could then give the information to USADA.
Presumably, the deal would only be worthwhile for riders who are still competing or young enough to return to competition if a ban was lifted.
"USADA is promising riders a sweetheart deal if they can produce anything harmful on Armstrong," Herman said. "A rider who has doped, they tell them, 'If you can finger Armstrong, we'll get out the eraser ... and everything is cool.'\u2009"
Herman said he could not disclose which rider or riders have been offered a deal. In the past Herman has said that, as a private entity, USADA's deal offer is similar to bribery.

One of the book’s revelations is Landis’ claim that his consultant, Paul Scott, heard from contacts inside the anti-doping community that USADA declined to pursue two strong cases of doping violations by American athletes in the fall of 2006.Comment
