You want me to name every athlete whos complained of a false positive? None of us are capable of determining if any of them were truthful or not. WADA has most definitely falsely accused athletes of doping and the USADA has made concessions when it came to the length of suspensions because of evidence provided after the fact.

As long as we can agree that these tests are fallible when it comes determining whether an athlete is doping or not is enough for me. I have nothing against the USADA specifically, but a fight not happening because of the possibility of false positives isnt a risk I think boxing fans should be excited about.

There's a difference between a bunch of false positives (as you claim) and "I'm positive, but this is WHY I'm positive".

USADA's job is not to explain or determine WHY you are positive. That is the job of the sport governing body.

Isnt testing also their responsibility? It just seems a lot of money and time is invested into a crime that only gives fans more entertainment for their money. Cheating has been around since the beginning of competition and it will never disappear so why do we pretend that we can eliminate it?

That's what I am saying. Their job is to test and report. That's it. HOW that substance got into your body (possibly innocently) has nothing to do with USADA.

Imagine that you have a poppy bagel, and then go take a pre-employment drug test. ChoicePoint reports that you have opiates in your system.

Is it ChoicePoint's fault? NO

Are you innocent? YES
