I genuinely can't watch MMA and regard it as a sport. It's just sanctioned brutality to me. I NEVER want to see a guy sitting on another guy who's basically defenseless and repeatedly smash him in the face. Boxing isn't about stuff like that.

As much as I hate Manny, He put Hatton to ****ing sleep the right way.

No one is getting put to sleep in UFC except the fans watching that lay and pray ****.

I know you're not sleeping though. You're gleefully watching every minute like its your favorite gay ****o.

So what about comparing the previous UFC event with the other near big boxing matches. There havent been all that many dull boxing matches this year IMO.

That's bull****. A friend of mine who's a hardcore MMA fan watched Pac-Mosley and enjoyed it. He never watched a boxing match before and he enjoyed that snoozefest, that tells you it's not just about how much contact there is. Boxing is aestethically pleasing even when not many punches are landed.

this article fails to mention that every mma event is PPV, and that most fights are snoozefests. everyone hates to see ****ty fights when you put out the money.

MMA delivers much more than boxing. In boxing we might see a card with 4-5 fights on it and only one will be worth watching. Boxing needs to put on good SHOWS. Have 4-5 good fights with good match ups not just propping one good fighter vs a bum all the time the way we see in Friday Night Fights.

I'm a boxing man but I can't lie, MMA has beaten boxing when it comes to making good shows, it's more **** for your buck.
dude you dont have to pay for friday night fights. you dont have to pay to watch the next generation of boxers making a name for themselves. even GOOD fighters in boxing aren't headling PPV events, both HBO and SHOWTIME show these fights free (if you have cable). every single MMA event is $50 and they have not all delivered. some were a big waste of time. if you love Boxing, you'll get your fix, and it wont hurt your wallet.
