For me I really dont give a **** anymore. I'm pissed at both sides for the fight not happening. We should be talking about the rematch at this point, but we arent and its down to the ego's of the big players in both camps.

Agreed. We should really be talking about pac floyd 3 by now. Over 2 years wasted on talk, more talk, and finally talk. It would be nice if we got a little boxing out of all this boasting.

But I will say this for mayweather, for the first time ever it really looks like floyd wants this fight. He has come out and so far, and I do mean SO FAR, he's saying all the right things. Lets just hope after the ortiz fight he DOES all the right things. Pac said he'll agree to ur demands ( props to pac for setting pride aside ) now u gotta follow through on ur end money.

If you show them a video of Pacquiao agreeing with random blood testing, they will require a document signed by Pacquiao affirming that.

but, look how logic changes inmediately..If Floyd say, "Pacquiao, yes, you're next"....they don't need signed paper, they don't even need a video. That will be accepted as fact to say "Floyd is the one who wanst to fight". That's faith... lol

Ortiz is a joke, take anyone off the resume from pacs or mays last ten fights and they are worlds better than anyone Vic or Andrea has fought. Vic won't even lay a glove on money and it ends whenever Floyd says so. I'm not so delusional to think Ortiz has a prayer.

We all know know why Arum cant say that Manny will take the tests. If Arum EVER said that Manny has agreed to EVERYTHING that Mayweather wants, then there would be no backing out of it. All the weight would be on their shoulders and no amount of spin doctoring could save Manny Pacquiao ass from ending up like his dog.

As it is, if Manny Pacquiao is so honest, upstanding and principled, why has Arum been offering Floyd EXTRA MONEY to accept the fight WITHOUT the USADA tests????? All those offers that Arum has been saying Floyd turned down were offers for him accept the fight and let Pacquiao off the hook so he didn't have to take the tests. Arum knows that just ONE POSITIVE TEST RESULT IMMEDIATELY GOES TO THE MEDIA.

Walking the walk would be accurately representing your position. Pacquiao has not accurately represented his own position because according to him and Arum, it has been Floyd who has held up the fight. When in reality its been Manny Pacquiao who refuses to sign the contract. Walking the walk would have been to take the tests. Walking the walk would be Pacquiao making his own decisions, and not letting Pappy Arum talk for him.

Pacquiao has admitted that he is not responsible for anything but fighting. This entire quarrel is between Mayweather and Arum. Arum is LIVID that he can't make money off of Mayweather. No one sees this? Arum has been trying to hype up Cotto, Clottey and Margarito for YEARS! The guys couldn't hang on for more than one year when Floyd left in 2007. He came back in 2009 and they had all lost and dropped in rank!

Arum was FURIOUS! Floyd was his slave for years ... making Arum lots and lots of money. When Floyd left Arum Promotions, Arum tried going to the media to make put pressure on Mayweather to fight HIS OWN FIGHTERS despite them not having done anything at WW at that point.

Now, Arum FINALLY has a guy in his stable who he can tout as having done something .. because he fought the last 6 guys ALL coming of losses, some at catchweights, and one WW was banned but was allowed to compete for a vacant jrMW title that he was never in line for.

Arum told the media "To hell with all that. Manny is a small guy but he's winning despite these guys being bigger and stronger". Arum neglected to say that Manny stipulated a rehydration clause that stated that his opponents could not come in larger than an agreed upon weight. Arum also didn't state that Pacquiao was facing these guys now that they were ranked #5.

Still, Arum wanted to make a mega fight to get his hands on as much money as he could. He knew that Mayweather had become WITHOUT HIM the cash cow of boxing. And Arum wanted a piece. So he pretended to negotiate with Mayweather for YEARS, claiming first that Manny wouldn't sign the contract in the Philippines. Then claiming that Mayweather was stalling by demanding USADA random tests.

Then Arum and Team Pacquiao began shuffling. First they wanted a 30 day cutoff. Then a 24 day cutoff. That just further stalled things. Then Team Pacquiao asked if the tests could just be urine. Then the whole Teddy Atlas text incident happened. That's when all bets were off.

Years went by, with Arum claiming that he was doing everything he could, which was a lie. Arum tried other circus antics like a countdown clock to force Floyd to accept without the USADA tests.

However, once Floyd dominated the #1 WW in the world to take the #1 spot at WW, Team Pacquiao requested that the original conditions for USADA testing from 2 years prior be implemented. Too little too late. Floyd had expressed a desire for testing up until the fight. Pacquiao **** his pants.

Now here we are in July of 2011. Pacquiao STILL has not signed the contract, but has said "Yes" in a YouTube clip when about 15 questions were asked. Manny says that he really wants to know if the testing is the reason.

The boxing fans have been saying "Sign the contract and find out".

Walking the walk is taking the tests. Always has been. Always will be. Either you're walking the walk ... or talking in YouTube clips about what you "will" do but won't commit to.

There's a lot more than meets the eye. When over $50 million is on the table, there are strategies involved. There is hype involved. There are details that none of us will ever know. Hence the gag order requested by Arum and Team Pacquiao ... the guys with supposedly nothing to hide.

I do love your post though...no ****... very informative.. but the fact the matter is we don't here floyd saying this before he signed the fight with Ortiz. his been 1 and half layoff and now he is saying this after he has a fight signed. all this is just a circus. trying to sell both fights. Playing with your head to make everyone think that they are going to fight next year. i will say this again and again. floyd is protecting that "0" and he knows only Pac can take that away.
