Leonard/Pryor never did either. No matter what Legendary Nights says, they never got close to even considering that fight. Leonard was either at 154, retired or fighting names and fighters much greater and more worthy than Pryor. Everything about that fight regarding Leonard ducking or there even being any negotiation is complete rubbish.

The most that ever happened was that there was a brief, public offer of half a mil to Pryor for the fight, which from memory, was when Leonard was retired or around the time he was going to fight Hearns and Pryor's team turned it down straight away, even though it was ten times as much as he would have gotten in any other fight...even a 3rd with Arguello.

Just about everything regarding that fight is BS.

      1. Thomas "Hitman" Hearns- this guy is the absolute worst match up for Floyd. Tommy was an excellent all around boxer with tremendous reach and power. Hearns length, power, and overall boxing ability would be too much for Floyd. Hearns also possessed a lethal jab. Hearns threw his jab with the intent to do damage. I think Herans could KO Khan with a jab. I think Hearns stops Floyd. No way does Floyd fight him if he was still fighting today.

      2. Sugar Ray Leonard- bigger, stronger, and faster than Floyd. SRL is the total package. Heart, skill, will, you name it he had it. SRL is too big, strong, and skilled for Floyd imo. However, I think Floyd gives Leonard a decent scrap due to his defense and ring IQ but I see Leonard winning a clear UD.

      3. The late great Vernon Forrest (RIP)- he's the modern fighter that I think has the size and best skill set to beat Floyd. Vernon was a terrific all around boxer with tremendous length. His height and reach wouldn't allow Floyd to control distance. I think Forrest wins a close SD.

      4. Roberto "Hands of Stone" Duran- Duran was relentless. This guy was about as tough and skilled as they come. Duran would've been on Floyd all night and he had a vicious body attack. He would make Floyd work the hardest. I think Duran wins by UD.

      (Couldn't add another pic)
      5. Sergio "Marvilla" Martinez- this guy is the only active fighter around Floyd's weight class that I would favor to beat Floyd. Sergio is an excellent athlete with underrated boxing skills. Sergio is big, fast, and powerful. I think he would have Floyd on the defensive and probably win a UD.
You Forget hearns was fast too

Power in his hands? He wasn't a power puncher but he hits harder than Floyd obviously and he hits hard with accumalitive punches....

Even Clottey at 147 would've probably beat his ass. The Clottey that fought Corrales would've definatly beaten Floyd.

And Floyd has no chance against Hearns or SRL. He probably outpoints Duran tho.

And Sweet Pea/Trinidad would beat the Popeyes outta Floyd.
Stop with this ****. He should of fought Cotto and Marg but he didnt but no way he would of loss
