chris eubank only gets recognized in two areas: in the UK and on this web site.

he doesnt get recognized anywhere else. walk up to ANYBODY in the world and ask "do you know who chris eubank is?"

i promise you this: 99.9% of the people you talk to wont have a damn clue who chris eubank is. people dont know him because chris eubank isnt worth remembering.

While I agree with most of what u said, I wouldn't say he is not worth remembering he is just overrated, thats all.

You couldn't be further from the truth, when he was boxing Eubank's fights were screened live WORLD-WIDE. He had fans ALL OVER THE WORLD (apart from America). When he went to Portugal, all the fight fans knew him. When he went to Germany, all the fight fans knew him. When he went to South Africa, all the fight fans knew him. Maybe he wasn't very well-known in America but he certainly was well-known all over the world, he was the game's great showman.

Sugar Ray Leonard was known all over the world and some people will say the ray leonard was the SPORT'S great showman, but i am not one of those people.

just because ur well known doesnt mean ur any good i.e. mike tyson since 2000, evander holyfield since the 1st ruiz fight, george foreman after the moorer fight, sugar ray leonard (his whole career), roy jones, and others.

ur fanbase is no reflection on your skill.

I don't quite understand what your getting at dude.

Look, Eubank's fights were live every couple of months in most countries and he was very funny to watch so people tuned in. Uhh, yeah.

if you wanna say "whos one of the best fighters in the past 3 decades?" most people who have a brain stem and who follow boxing will say "Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, Larry Holmes, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, or Marvin Hagler". but when you say "chris eubank", everybody turns to you and says "who the **** is that?!"

send a letter to a boxing expert you know, like Angelo Dundee, Emmanuel Steward, Bert Sugar, Herb Goldman, Thomas Hauser, or somebody whos been involved with the sport for at least 15-20 years and ask them "whos one of the best in 30 years?" of all the people they will name, Chris Eubank WON'T be one of them.
