Instead of looking for encouraging signs that would make the fight come closer to materializing, they grab on to anything that hinders it from happening. When Roach and Pac say they want the fight, Floyd fans say it won't happen without the test. Pac says he will take the test, Floyd fans start digging for every possible contradictory information and insist that Pac is lying. Whenever Pac fans say "Floyd, stop the b.s. and fight Pac", Floyd Fans repeat the 'no test, no fight' mantra.

They will say anything to discredit Pac. One dimentional; no inside game; not boxing smart; will get schooled by Floyd; no jab; fights leftovers, old, past prime fighters; cherry picker; catch weight king; etc., etc., etc.. Yet when confronted with a direct challenge to put up or shut up, these fans go back and repeat the process, "take the test, take the test" or say, "too late, Pac passed up the chance". In addition, they will try and tone down any obvious natural advantages Floyd has (weight, height and reach) by insisting that Floyd is a small WW and weighs around the weight limit at fight night when, on the contrary, everyone can plainly see that he was as big or even bigger than Shane when they fought.

There is no other explanation for this rather strange disconnect except to conclude that these fans do not want the fight to happen. Like their idol Floyd, they are totally afraid to face the consequence. A defeat in the hands of an Asian midget has to be prevented at all cost. What is at stake here is the belief in the invincibility of the slick African/American boxer. While Pac's fans are very anxious to find out how great their idol is regardless of the consequences, Floyd fans are desperately trying to prevent a possible devastating and humiliating experience.
All the subsequent replies of Floyd fans proved exactly what the message of this post is saying.

At the end of the day, *****s know too damn well how much negative impact a loss to Pac will be-both in fame & fortune. While Pac fans have nothing to worry about because win or lose, they're just happy the fight gets made because they know Pac went through a loss before, he's going to perform 110% and give us fireworks, and already achieved greatness-so his career is not on the line.

Let's get something straight: *****s are not THAT ******. They know too damn well that Pac is a BEAST, and WILL probably perform his best against Floyd. Pac has already been destroying his past opponents, even though he has no beef with them and remain friends. So, can you fucking imagine what he will do to someone he truly hates? Deep inside *****s doesn't want to see that side of Pac.

because it's that simple, dumbass. no test, no fight. what else is there to say? fact is, pacquiao's refusal of fully random OSDT and management blunders have derailed this fight from day one. it's been 3 years now? why is floyd being faulted here for the lack of initiative? he's been consistent with his term(s) from the very beginning and has been widely reported to have agreed to everything team pacquiao has thrown onto the table so, the ball has always been in team pacquiao's court to deliver back. they have his number. where is the signed contract stating manny has agreed to everything he has said on video? have phone calls been made recently? have e-mails been sent? i wonder...

keep twiddling your thumbs, it's going to be another long year next year filled with more excuses from the pacquiao camp on why "maynever didn't want the fight." and why "i'm fighting another loser in a catchweight fight." keep circle jerking to what jesus manny is going to do to floyd in your fantasy fights, fucking clowns.

if it's so important to you guys that pac is blamed for the fight not happening, then suit yourself. it obviously makes you happy. i'm just saying that the rest of the world sees floyd as the one holding up this fight no matter how you want to spin it.

it's pac's fault. fight didn't happen. now what?

You know what man I can completely see your point and understand where you're coming from. My issue is just that there seems to be a constant flow of contradictory information from the Pac camp. It's like how are we supposed to give them any credibility when they are all saying different things, not to mention it's just tough to really trust anything going on with Bob Arum. Now before you say anything, yes, obviously Floyd has contradicted himself before, but at least everyone on his team seems to be on the same page. I just can't understand why the Pac camp is so all over the place as far as what each individual says.

Completely untrue man. I am a life long Mayweather fan and I want him to fight Pac regardless if he wins or loses. There is simply no shame in losing to an all time great fighter. Now obviously I think that Mayweather wins the fight, but let's not even get into that.

Your point about Pac fans just wanting the fight to happen is valid as well, BUT your missing a huge point here. Pac and his fans may not have that much to lose, but Bob Arum has A LOT to lose if Mayweather beats Pac. You have to keep in mind that Arum is the one pulling the strings here, not Pac.

You guys keep harping about a signed contract. Don't you realize that there can't be a contract if the other party does not sit across the table and negotiate? Refusing to negotiate is one more indication of having no desire for the fight to happen.

Fair enough, good post. I do agree that if anything, this whole mess is all about Floyd vs. Arum, since Pac doesn't really care who he fights. You're obviously a logical boxing fan who is a Floyd fan, so let's just say my post was directed to those pac haters. I just want to see this fight happen, period.
