Why did holyfield beat tyson ? .

I think holyfield beat tyson because tyson only threw one punch at a time and holyield grabbed tyson pushed him back and hit tyson with combinations while he had on the backfoot . Am i right ? .

My man Holyfield, did do a lot of holding in that fight. He does tend to get very close when fighting.

2 reasons why holyfield beat tyson:
      1. Holyfield could take tyson's punches
      2. holyfield isnt scared of anybody.

if tyson cant scare you or KO you, he cant beat you.

        Holyfield had some balls.

        Tyson had no balls.

This is the basis for everything.

If Holyhead could take Tyson's punches he wouldn't have used the punch n grab John Ruiz tactic. He also got away with using his head alot especially in the 1st fight which was ridiculous. Had Holyhead fought like his usual self he would've got KTFO.

Pipe down clown. If he could take Tyson's punches there would've been no need for the punch n grab style Einstein.

Its very simple really. Holyfield is better.

Holyfield, though 6'2", was a much better infighter than the 5'10" Tyson. That's all there is to it. Tyson's mindset really came into play in the second fight, but in both matches, Holy was the man on the inside.

If Tyson learned to fight on the inside, he would have had so much more success in his career.
