He (Gerald) knocked Nigel Benn down in the 8th round from a left hook to the body, then to the head combo. His trademark. Benn headbutted him after that really bad and started hitting hellaciously behind the head. Benn was almost gone for the second time in the 8th. He would have been gone in the first if there was a proper referee.

Thats to answer your question about Gerald's ability to fight past the early rounds. Which is a fair question because almost all his fights ended within 3 or 5 at the most.

I dont think Eubank had the power to in any way hurt McClellan or deter his attack. I dont know alot about Eubank but if he didnt take a body punch well and could not deter Gerald's onslaughts he would be in trouble.

Benn didn't badlyu headbut McClellan at the end of round 8? And after the knockdown start hitting hellacious behind the head? The referee didn't give Benn tons of extra time to revive in round 1? haha ok fella I disagree.
