    McClellan vs Eubank

These two guys were supposed to be unbeatable at the time of Benn and Collins causing shock upsets against them,, maybe they were the only two guys who would of lived with RJJ at their best, but what would of happend if G Man and JuyJuys man had ever fought each other? Lets say that G Man moves up and fights Eubank in 1992,?

If Eubank had the raw boxing talent alot of people said he did, I don't see why he couldn't beat the Gman.

    The Gman is overrated.

I've come to realise that Eubank was tailor-made for McClellan! Basically because the one punch that Eubank just could not handle was the left hook to the body, anybody who landed that punch on Eubank had him weakened for the rest of the fight or almost stopped him when it landed. McClellan's speciality punch just happened to be the left hook to the body, McClellan stopped 15 opponents in the 1st-round with a left hook to the body.

Eubank apparently lacked natural talent because says he was very raw material when he started out and that it took him years of hard work to become a skilled fighter.

McClellan over-rated? No chance, he was bloody brilliant.

Besides power and a good chin, what else did he have that seperated him from the rest?

As the 80's turned into the 90's, McClellan developed into an awesome boxer-puncher. He circled his opponents and picked them off well, he could set up a bomb to the head with jabs or body shots very well, he had the most lethal two-punch combination I've ever seen (overhand right to head followed by left hook to body, finished 15 opponents in 1st-round just with that particular two-punch combination), he threw uppercuts to the body with either hand that opponents didn't expect, he had very good boxing skill, and he had amazing timing.

McClellan and Eubank both had *****s in their armour, ofcourse.
For McClellan it was that he Never threw uppercuts to the head and had No defence.
For Eubank it was that he didn't take a good body shot very well, and that he never ever liked fighting at a pace.

So was Eubank afraid of the bodysnatcher for a reason?

So it looks like Roy's method of doing body workouts was a match better idea than just getting hit with a medicine ball to take body shots.

In my opinion, if Eubank combined the medicine ball thing along with situps, and stuff like that he would have had a titanium kidney....like Tyson.

The question would be on what would G MAN be like after say five rounds ?? I think Eubank may of been a little too slick for him around 92?

He (Gerald) knocked Nigel Benn down in the 8th round from a left hook to the body, then to the head combo. His trademark. Benn headbutted him after that really bad and started hitting hellaciously behind the head. Benn was almost gone for the second time in the 8th. He would have been gone in the first if there was a proper referee.
