Agreed..i honestly dont think there are any fighters out there would be able to get that close to pac, except one.

Ill say it again the best way to get inside for a clinche battle is to lead with your dominant hand and fall into your opponent, something floyd is very good at. All im saying is if floyd notices that after he falks into manny, that manny isnt doing much on the inside, than he will most likely adjust to just potshots and clinching..

Hm well floyd uses his lead right and falls into his opponent alot he doesnt always fight in the clinche because he doesnt need to but in a fight that involves an opponent of so much skill i could see him trying it out..fights that come to the top of my head are hatton and burton.

im not saying floyd is a clinche fighter just that he is good in the clinche and in a fight of this magnitude look for any weakness to be exploited on either side.

Yeah thats the best way against alot of people but you member mannys reflexs are good enough to see that after awhile and and his ability to pick a perfect punches when needed is gonna make that hard for anyone who just throws the lead and falls cause if you get caught it's twice as bad ause you feel into it.

it is a mistake for Floyd to fight PAC inside, it just dangerous, reckless and will probbaly result in Floyd being KOED, IMHO if their is a PAC weakness to exploit is his vulnerability to jabs, Manny eats jabs like POPCORN and Maywather's jab is one of the best in the business...

there are very few and short instances where pac could be said to be entangled on a so called inside fighting......

these are very hard to notice as pac hits the body of his opponent very fast and in combos even up close.....the effect of which is the quick separation of fighters.....where again pac goes back to his in and out motions....

the pac cotto, pac erik and pac diaz fights come to mind............

May's inside game is as nonexistant as pac. He'd be at an even bigger disadvantage brcausr of his long wingspan. *****s just love to think that the elbow/forearm right hanf combo floyd loves to throw counts as inside fightinh.

Watch Floyd continuously snap Jesus Chavez head back on the inside as he beat him at his own game. Jesus Chavez was a midget too, even shorter than manny. Floyd's impressive reach didn't hinder him there.

manny's inside fighting is trash. technique wise, it is trash. he gets around it by being fast and powerful. so he doesn't look like complete garbage when going inside because he can still hurt guys and fire off quicker.

being able to sidestep left or right like turning and turning pac did during the cotto fight is an indicator of pac in-fighting....like in rounds 2 to 4....

again, it is pac's foot speed and hand speed and the angles he throws punches that help him win fights...like also what he did with marg

IMO FMJ is a better inside fighter than Pac, but getting inside on Pac is quite perilous. If FMJ tries to get inside Pac will counter a clinch with short hooks and vicious uppercuts, or just side step and turn FMJ. Pac doesn't throw a lot of uppercuts, nor does he land them often, but when they do land..

FMJ is better off controlling the distance and disrupting Pac's rhythm with a constant helping of jabs.

floyd's inside game is to the body in the clinch he punches you right in the gut. he did to hatton quite a bit and was getting mosley even as he was hurt in round 2

I was just watching some pac vids and it reminded me of something my trainer was telling me when pacman fought clottey. How good is mannys clinche fighting?

I know he has good footwork and can control distance well but he has to have some experience with phonebooth fighting.

I dont wanna offend anyone by saying this but if he isnt that good in the clinche then that might be the true key to beating manny.
I dont mean when him and his opponent just stand right in front of eachother, im talking about him and his man keaning on eachother bumping shoulders that type of fight.

Does anyone have any videos or links of Manny fighting that type of fight?

Manny is a mid-to-distance fighter because he has speed, power and mobility that's why he doesn't need to employ inside fighting skills. Hatton, Cotto and Margarito tried to force Manny to fight in the inside but they can't catch him and look what happened to them?!

Every fighter needs to develop skills based on their own attributes and not try to be a complete fighter that doesn't fit in on your own physical ability?!

Pac's too quick to get caught on the inside like that. Therefore, I don't consider him an inside fighter at all.
