Does anyone else feel that Haye never had any intention to fight Vitali, irrespective of whether he won or lost against Wlad? I always thought if he beat Wlad, he would retire to avoid fighting Vitali.

most people must have realized this by now. he's scared to death of vitali. i don't think he even attempted any verbal gymnastics against him.

Haye and everyone else knows he has no chance against a monster like Vitali period. he took this wlad fight cause he was convinced after the corrie sanders and brewster lost that he had a chance like that aswell to beat wlad if he landed on his chin,, truth is wlad is a diff fighter since those losses. Haye knows he cant hurt Vitali who has a granite chin, and it was proven when he took lennox lewis best shots and never fell even when his face opened up he still had his hands up after the fight and that i believe scares haye. haye should retire he hasnt done anything as a heavyweight period. honestly john ruiz i respect more then haye cause he fought everyone, haye is and always will be the talking ex champ. im so glad wlad shut him up. he dosent deserve a rematch at all.

I'm a fan of Haye, but if he retires even i will concede he is a *****, i'll wait and see, i know he is desperate for a rematch, but he'll need o go the long way around to get it and that might mean Vitali
