    Why?

Why did Hagler not fight again after the loss to Leonard, any theories?

    dont need theories
    hes said why
    he felt so robbed
    so mistreated by the judges
that he lost his faith for the sport
so he never stepped back in the ring
    somethin along those lines

No theories, just facts. Leonard retired after the bout and no amount of cajoling, concessions or money could ever bring him to rematch Hagler. Hagler retired a year later which he had planned to do anyway and Leonard promptly unretired. Hagler was uninterested in nontitle bouts and Leonard was unwilling to do the rematch even though the first bout made him the biggest purse of his life.

Hagler certainly showed a lot of class. Walked away true to himself.

Yeah, I wasn't 100% sure that was the reason but I always thought it was.
