You obviously haven't been following Zavec. He's been looking to fight in America since he won the title. Talking about it in interviews, website, on his facebook, ect. He came to America for Pac-Margarito to introduce himself to HBO and has visited America again since then to scout an opponent.

Dude could have stayed in Europe and packed arenas fighting lesser-competition like others. That's not how he wanted to roll.

Packing Europe for a fraction of the money is pointless. He came here to get paid.

Prizefighters don't waste their time just to fight in America for the sake of it.

Actually there is more money to be made in Germany that in USA

Klitschko made upwards of 50Million Euros against David Haye. Thats more than Mayweather has ever received.

Felix Sturm, Ruslan Chagaev, Alex Povetkin all make more than 3 million euros per fight in Germany.

German Boxing > US Boxing

Thats why guys like Felix Sturm and Klitschko's never fight in USA. Cuz they make more in Germany.

Klitschko can draw 50,000 people.

Mayweather, Hopkins cant even draw 5,000.

The money's in Germany because thats where most boxing fans are. And truly, boxing is a much bigger sport in Germany than USA

Haven't seen much of any of Zaveck, but I have a feeling that if Berto keeps the fight on the outside, he wins. His speed, power, and accuracy are tough to deal with on th outside, but if Zaveck can consistently find his way to the inside and work, he can take home a W. Berto by UD though, possible controversy...
