i doubt berto can win by ko. looking at his resume he hasn't KO'd any world class opponent in a while. it's about the same with zavec's unfortunately.
it has to be said however zavec has fought jackiewicz, his last big opponent, injured on his right hand elbow, but he still dominated and outboxed the pole.
i think this might be going to the cards where zavec will be hugely disadvantaged. esp. if it's a close fight.
i recommend you guys read this article if you missed it before, it's pretty interesting:

I would sure love to see Zavec win on Saturday, but I don't think he will, unless he manages to knock Berto out. The American judges will not be fair in their scoring to a foreign fighter.

Zavec is a much more exciting fighter than Berto:

Ah, Tunney. Never without an excuse. Or, 20 excuses.

yeah the poll is 50-50 just like the fight will be. people automatically pick up berto, but zavec will be dangerous. if a natural lww collazo can spank and wobble berto's ass, i expect a beatdown from zavec. he's bigger, stronger and more skilled than collazo.
i think if zavec's chin takes an initial berto's assault it's gonna be a damn good scrap.

This should be starting within a couple of hours.

                War Zavec!

                    4 hours most likely.

I'm looking forward to a good fight. Both guys are skilled and arguably in their respective primes. Both guys look in great shape and seem to be very motivated/focused for this fight.

I like Berto and he's usually in exciting fights- no matter who the opponent is. However, I'm rooting for Zaveck. I admire the guy for taking a huge risk in coming to the U.S. fighting in hostile territory and putting his IBF strap on the line. You don't see this too often. Most (but not all) of the European champions/titlists are content fighting on their home tuff, holding their belts hostage and fighting cherry picked opponents fight after fight...

Zavec sees the U.S. boxing market as a huge opportunity and a win over Berto, on HBO, will undoubtedly open some doors for him against the other top welter weights in the division. And for that reason, I'd like to see it work out for him..
