good to see a old nemisis posting on here! i think that this fight is going to be awesome either way. castillo more than just that last round. this fight is coming way too soon imho and because of this i don't think coralles is going to fight the same fight as he did the first time around. i think he'll be alot less inside and more outside like he could have been. but then again he could fight the same fight and who knows what will happen. what we do know is that if that mouthpiece does come out it needs to stay out. it saved him in the first fight and i don't think it will be a factor this time. castillo, as a mexican, wont let the last fight have an effect on him. i think he'll put on a great performance as usual and so will coralles. i gotta tell ya...i love both these guys, i have such a hard time when they fight cause they are both so talented and i like them both. either way i win and lose whenthey mix it up.Comment

Castillo, despite 4 TKO losses, had never been down, or really hurt, in any of his 59 prior fights. The last fight against Corrales he was visibly wobbled a couple of time before the final barrage of punches put him out on the ropes.
Will this affect his performance at all in the rematch? Will having his chin checked hard and found wanting a few times in a brutal fight make him hesitant at all? Looking at the kind of punishment he dished out against Corrales, seeing him the next day all swollen and puffy, barely able to see through the slits where his eyes were supposed to be and knowing the man still got off the canvas twice and beat him until he was flailing on the ropes, will it give him pause? I would like to think not, as I'm sure he would, but I'm not sure. It must be demoralizing to see the kind of damage he inflicted and know the man still had the heart to beat him.
I know some people will bring up the mouthpiece. It's irrelevant.
Can you get back in the ring with someone whom you gave everything you had against, whom you savagely beat, and still got knocked out by?Comment

P4P Corrales is on the Foreman level. He hurts anyone that he can hit flush. I don't think Castillo has to worry about his chin too much in the future, except when he's in the ring with Diego Corrales.Comment

But, Castillo stood up to punches that would have murdered any other 135lber.
Castillo's chin will be as sturdy as usual. But, like the last time, it will depend on just how many times it gets blasted.
There is a chance though that all of the punishment he took may have softened the chin a bit.Comment

Corrales has a **** ton of heart... he's been knocked down more than his fair share, but he gets up more than anybody else could. Knocked down and knocked out are 2 different things.Comment
