1. I think because pac technical ability is not as good as mayweathers the fights hes in are seen as more competitive and more risky. I doubt Oscar thought highly of pac skill and thought he would walk away with a victory. Shane knew he couldn't outbox floyd so he threw bombs to start the fight off. He thought he would not brawl and attempt to out box pac because pac is not a boxer.
