Fighting Mosley in 09 coming off an excellent win when he was #1 at WW is different to fighting him in 2011 coming off over 2 years without a win, No?
The thing is nobody fought him after he beat Margarito. At least not for another year so don't here and single out Pac. A fighter in his late 30's sitting on his ass for 12 months isn't exactly the most challanging fight for "any" top level boxer in his prime. I'm not one of these *******s who praises pac for fighting Shane but im not gonna make mosely some sort of great win for Floys either. Lets call mosely what he is! He's a name fighter that made Floyd and pac lots of money the end.
I loved the Cotto fight so I'm not sure who you're referring to. Try not to interject with nonsense. I've always lauded the Cotto fight, even if it wasn't quite the Cotto of 2007, he was still quite formidable. Since then, however, it's been nothing but nonsense.
Nonsense huh? It's funny how the exact same nonsense Floyd pulls is ok but pac does it and its a travisty. Can u say Hypocrisy? At least pac fought a formidable opponent in his prime who (big ***ing deal) had one loss almost a year and a half previous to fighting pac. Mayweather is fighting Ortiz a twenty something who still has a lot to prove in the boxing world but oh yeah nothing wrong with that. Green fighters with zero experience fighting on the big PPV stage is ok just becasue theopponent is young. Pfft!

It ended up nobody fighting him for a while after that.
But, Pac could have fought him instead of Cotto. Which, in my opinion, and many others, was the better fight for him at the time.
Not that the Cotto fight was an unlegit fight. It certainly wasn't. It was an exceptional win for Pac, no question.
But, fighting Shane, the #1 fighter at WW at the time, would have been the best option.
The difference is; at the time Mayweather fought him there was a public demand for the Mosley fight and it was quite possibly the best option available (obviously other than Pacquaio).
As opposed to when Pac fought Shane it was absolutely not the best available and frankly far from it.
I can't really see how Mayweather fighting Shane and Pac fighting Shane can be seen as the same. Regardless to the fact it was only a year later.
I guess Manny is praised for taking leftovers because he was poor as a young man and couldn't help it. It's in Manny's nature to just take leftovers because he is so humble and giving to others. LMAO.
When the *** did Mayweather fight Cotto, Clotty, and Margarito?
All these racist comments for no reason just makes ur race look bad, the reason Floyd is treated this way is because he's black and the comments on this post prove it, why else would they hate FM that much, Fernado Vargas use spit on his opponents after he knocked them out among other things and he was never hated. If Floyd was fighting all of pacs opponents imagine what they would say. This goes back to the Jack Johnson Joe Loius days where Johnson The 1st black heavyweight Champion was extremely hated obviously cuz he was black and ****y, and even dated white women right after slavery abolishment and because of Johnson Joe Louis was advised not to smile raise his hand too bostfully after victories and avoid taking pictures with white women in fear of white rage. Floyd is black and ****y , if he was on his joe Louis behavior people would still hate him but it would be more discreteful, just like it is with Anderson Silva in the UFC, the best fighter pound for pound fighter in the sport.

Really? Be specific. Go ahead, I'm waiting.

Nope, I don't have a problem with Floyd facing the best available welter as opposed to the best available lightweight. Pfft.

But that's me.
It's the same because Shane was a shell of his former self in both fights the end. I know you wanna convince yourself that Shane was only sorta shot against Floyd and completely shot agaisnt pac but there are no shades of grey here it's black and white. Shane was a fighter in his late 30's coming off a year lay off to fight one of the best fighters in the world who was in their prime.
And as usual a ***** will bring up this whole "the public demanded him to fight shane" Bullshhitt. Thats speculation my friend and untill you show me raw investigative data it's nothing more than sensationalized mumbo jumbo. Truth is the Cotto fight was easier to make because they had the same promoter and lets face it Cotto beat Mosely hands down. I guess fighting the guy who outboxed the best welterweight in the land doesn't mean anything I guess. Sure Margarito may have beat cotto but in the end Pac clobbered all three of them into the ground in lopsided fashion so what exactly is your argument?
