LOL saw that now. Yeah it wasn't a catchweight got it mixed up. Either way he hadn't made the 147lb limit in over 7 years. Looked up his what he weighed in at and it was 145. so I got that mixed up. When is beating Ricardo Mayorga a big deal?

Its a big deal when Ricardo Mayorga took out Vernon Forrest, a WW champion who defeated a prime Shane Mosley twice. Mayorga knocked Forrest out, and got a huge gift in the rematch. His stock shot up after those two wins.

But you would have to have been a boxing fan before 2001, when Pacquiao stopped hiding in Southeast Asia, to have known that.

Mayorga beat a P4P fighter while they were still on top. Funny **** is, Pacquiao has never done that. Marquez is a hell of a technician but his record shows that he isn't a P4P boxer. He hasn't fought many top people. He was heavily avoided for years. Pacquiao, Barrera and Mayweather are his only big wins. Cassamayor was passed his prime when they met.

I think Marquez is probably a better boxer than most of the guys on the P4P list, but being an awesome technician doesn't mean that you don't have to earn your place on the list.

Don't let that idiot bully you. The fight may not have been a catchweight fight, but there were definitely weight stipulations that prohibited DLH from coming in at anything above 147. You better believe that ****!!!!!

Had DLH come in at the same weight that he fought Floyd at[approx 175lbs] Pacquiao would have been smashed. DLH himself said this after the fight.

Its always smoke and mirrors with Pacquiao.
