Wlad exciting but not Hopkins? Wlad is the same type of fighter. He doesn't hold as much and certainly not crafty but he rarely works the body and usually wears down his opponent(due to size) by popping his jab. The only difference is Wlad by wearing down his opponent usually gets an opening at the end to get a kayo. So, what you're saying is that last round where he scores a kayo makes up for the 11 rounds before where Wlad isn't so exciting. Same kind of fighter. I get it though, you don't like Americans.

They're the same type of fighter imo. Don't fight the same but both are vets that know how to work the ring and play the point system. I was actually really impressed by Wlads fight Saturday. No, he didn't fight as well as he has in the past but not get frazzled or letting Haye get to him was great to watch. Wlad being calm, just like Hopkins is was great.

People expect champion vets to switch up their succesful style to make things interesting for their entertainment.. I never get why boxingfans can't enjoy a technical good fighter. Applaud ring generalship, cutting off the ring, working your advantage, taking over the the fight not only physical but mentally.. Something B-hop is an absolut master at.
Just the fact that he can make a boxer who throws 100 punches a round, throw only 10 punches a round against him.. That alone shows brilliance and a fight that's going the way HE wants it to go. Complete control, at it's up to the opponent to find an answer for this.

It's a crime for fighters not to go for the KO though when the opportunity arrises, they owe the fans that much.. But there's soooo much more to boxing.

The pascal fights were both full of excitement. As a boxing fan I would imagine most people found those fights extremely entertaining, especially observing the skill level.

He's had some stinkers, sure, most people have. Jones was a terrible fight indeed and the winky fight wasn't great either, however I did find it interesting to watch hopkins take away winky's best weapon in his jab, from a technical aspect it was interesting. Pavlik and Tarver fights were great performances.

Of course all of this is over the age of 40. I don't know why you expect some KO artist at this age.

When he was younger he was much more active and scored a lot of KO's. He's slowed down and had to adjust his style quite a bit since getting old, something a smart man would to do keep his career going.

Personally I'd say Bernard Hopkins takes the cake. This guys fights never end in KO, and they are 12 round hug fests and just completely boring. I dont remember Bernard being in an exciting fight in over 10 years. Bernard's style is god awful, and always leads to close, controversial, crappy fights.

Bernard's fights are just awful to watch, his style is disgusting. Granted he is a very tricky fighter. It seems like Bernard is a "one trick pony" however. I never enjoy his fights, and he has never even been in a decent fight in over 10 years.

Other boring fighters (not as bad as Bernard but generally pretty boring and unexciting):

              Kris Wlodarczyk
              Floyd Mayweather
              Lamont Peterson
              Yuri Foreman
              Andre Ward
This act alone is absolutely entertaining.
