Comments Thread For: Emanuel Steward: Haye Fight Did Not Go as Planned

Emanuel Steward, the trainer IBF/WBA/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, was expecting a different fight from the one viewed by millions of people last Saturday night in Hamburg, Germany. Steward expected Haye to come out firing power punches in the first round to take control and to increase his chances for a surprise early knockout of Wladimir. Instead, the British star was very defensive and fought a cautious fight. Wladimir won an easy twelve round unanimous decision.

Emanuel is going to make Wlad fight Haye again just so he can KO him, lol.

Emanual Steward is a bad bad man, on HBO they said he had a crazy training record with heavyweights like 100-2 or something crazy like that, anyone know the exact win/loss that Steward hass with HW's?

Why are people talking such BS? Haye was on the back foot but wasn't running. Most of the punches Wlad landed is because Haye was stood infront of Wlad wanting to counter.

Sorry, you have to actually throw punches to counter Haye back peddled like a Russian Grizzly bear on a unicycle!

I still think Wladimir could have done more in the fight. He should have knocked out Haye at least.
