I wouldn't chance him against Mattysse. After all Mattysse has had 2 close fights not go his way. There will be a time when 1 does.Because as far as I can see Mattysse does have the boxing skill to box with the top 140lbers.it wouldn't surprise to see Lucas get the decision if they fight.

I have no doubt Bradley would win and win convincingly against Matthysse, he is an entirely different level fighter than Judah or Alexander, and he proved that against Alexander. Matthysse is good, but he's limited.

        Khan and Bradley...
        ...
        ...
The rest of that division IMO.

Had Bradley fought Khan it would of worked out perfect. The winner could of moved on to Floyd/Pac and the loser could of stayed at 140 and fought Lucas or whoever at the end of the year. Boxing isn't perfect though and contracts got in the way. He should wait a few months and fight Lucas. Not only would Lucas trump Judah it would be a great learning experience for a Khan fight. TBH, the way this all went down just pushed the big fight 10 months or so back. Instead of the winner getting a huge payday early next year against one of the huge names, now they have to wait till next summer.

Thats about the size of it. Bradley is a fantastic fighter, but he just didnt read the bigger picture when it came to deciding whether to take the Khan fight or not.

Where does he go from here? He can sit and wait on the winner of Khan Judah, but with his negotiating position diminished, or he can look to someone like Matthysse or Morales and pick up his big guarantee from HBO. Either way it looks like he has totally misread his position.

He could go up to 147 but who would he fight? It doesnt look like he will get near the Ortiz-Floyd winner, and its very doubtful he gets anywhere near a fight with Manny. He could go for Berto. That would be a high risk fight but a ballsy move and could make a statement if he can get a good win. Could be his best option.

I figured it would be soething of a statement to Khan, directly.

I didn't think of that.If he could beat Berto more convincingly than Ortiz did, that would put him right back on track. But the thing is that that fight would be dangerous.Because Berto also has something to prove.

I just want to see Bradley back in the ring again.

Make it a legit fight, though.

Why do you believe he misread his position??He will be away from Shaw and one fight to be done with Thompson boxing and then he is right where he wants to be..This was a power move by Bradley and good move for him moving forward..

Bradley must fight Khan. It has to be done. Judah beat Matthysse already on points. Khan-Bradley has to be made for the good of the division.
