I don't think Haye's performance was a disgrace. He just couldn't break his way through, as with countless other fighters that Wlad has faced. The toe is a bogus excuse. In fact, this could be the best thing that has happened to him. He will now have to take the route he should have taken before short-circuiting his way to title shots. I'd like to see him fight Arreola and Chambers - for the benefit of the US doubters - as well as Povetkin and Adamek... before a rematch with Wlad or a shot at Vitali (if he's still boxing then). I would also like to see him put on some bulk like Lewis did - he'll never have the height but that never hindered the Mike Tysons of this world...
There has been a word about Vitali in his BBC interview this morning, he said he would fight either one of them if they throw out the challenge
Oh man, I would love to see them fight in Staples Arena or MSG. That would entertain american public, no doubt. both have a good shot of winning, both have great entrances.
