A knock out loss would've been better for Haye

In all seriousness, the first three rounds of the fight haye really made me worried, but then it all came to the usual Wlad pace and Haye showed himself much more of a "salesman then a fighter"(Larry Merchant quote)
If he would have decided to actually go out and mix it up with Wlad, maybe get Wlad in trouble a couple of times he would've achieved much, much more respect as a fighter who fought with Wlad on even terms(mind you, very few people did that). And who knows, maybe he might have won. However last night's loss, after all the shit he talked pre fight, completely disfigures his reputation all around the world and his future career opportunities.
He marked himself as a man who can, but will not deliver.

This post refers to haye's legacy and career rather then health, obviously

Is it Haye or is it Adam Booth?

Booth seems to have built a bit of a reputation now with his fighters fighting on the back foot and throwing a few punches a round. Example: Groves against DeGale.

I'm gutted about that fight and I was rooting for Groves only because Degale had a mouth similar to Hayes(These fighters who use their mouths to sell fights lose fans because they come off as obnoxious ppl).

But I honestly felt that no one won that fight and that the one judge who scored it a draw deserves a medal and thats what I think the fight should have been.

        would've been better for everyone

Wlad does have an excellent KO ratio, but because he leaves them until the final rounds, people still see him as a "points fighter". Therefore, going to decision even 2-3 times in memory severely damages his brand. Even that brutal KO of Chambers is pretty much remembered as a decision victory to some people because he toyed with him for so long.

On Haye's end, he could have played the old "I went out fighting unlike blahblahblah" and "he just caught me everyone gets caught"

As it stands he got out timed, out boxed, even out sped by the "big slow clumsy guy" and lost a predictable decision. He had to blame his swollen pinky toe hahahaha. HE couldn't throw his right hand my ass, he threw it lots of times it just missed by about 3 feet.

It was Haye who fought, he could've realized that in these final rounds that he is gonna look like a twat if he is not gonna deliver anything substantial.
He did smack Wlad with that huge right hand in twelfth and there I though we finally have a fight, but nonetheless Haye opted to survive rather then try to decimate.

just like rhodes trainer said in the alvarez fight, "you're already gonna lose on the scorecards, it doesn't matter if it's by points or knockout, just go all out". haye really should have done that by the 8th or 9th round tbh. such a letdown from him, i honestly don't think anyone will care who he fights next

between fighting all those WBA bums to earn his shot at Wlad, wanting to retire at 30, talking all that **** then fighting like it was an amateur points bout, then blaming his pinky toe

Haye really got the last laugh. He made millions of dollars off of nothing but half-hearted performances and **** talking

the british boxing media that instantly goes into propaganda mode and earns their local bums world title fights is the real criminal, and they'll be back at it within a week

Haye would've gotten more respect from real boxing fans, but most of the Brits who have filled Haye's wallet do not meet that description, and it's them who will pay for his future fights.

If Haye would've gotten KTFO, Vitali wouldn't be interested in facing him in the future.
