This thread looks almost exactly like threads made ages ago when Pac was in the lighter weights and people were debating how he would do against JWWs and WWs. 99.9% insisted that he will be committing suicide. We found out differently, didn't we? But in this case we will never get a true answer.

Always love reading bumped threads where people were saying 'Hatton would murder Manny, Ricky is too big and strong for him', or 'Pacquiao fighting at welter would be suicide- do you think he would last 3 rounds against Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, etc?', 4-1 underdog against Barrera, 2-1 underdog against DLH.

EVERYONE that was supposed to destroy Manny with ease had the opposite happen to them. We'll never see Pac-Duran, even though that's one of the most appealing fantasy matchups IMO. But anyone saying Duran would win easily is just following that same line of misguided thinking and underrating of an ATG.
