Is he greater? Obviously. Man stoppage or not I dont really care at 135 I think Floyd ****s him up no lube. Period. Whether that sounds absurd to your not doesnt matter.

And, for the record not once did I say that Duran is as good defensively as Floyd. I did say that Benitez at 140 is on the same level as defensive skill goes as Floyd. I would rank Whitaker, Pep, and Locche higher than Floyd when it comes to defense.

What I did say that Duran was just as skilled if not more so than Floyd. Because, skills comes from different levels and different styles. I also said that Duran has just as high as a boxing IQ as Floyd.

The problem is that people have this believe with Duran just like with Hagler. That they were come forward, aggressive, brute fighters. But, they had different attributes to their game that they don't get enough credit for.

And, no I don't think Floyd beats Duran 135 either. And, to say that he stops him at 135 it's absurd? I mean who the **** did Floyd stop at 135? Ndou? Agustus/Burton? You damn right it's absurd.

My thoughts:


- Firstly, a very good post, and the bold especially. Hagler had very underrated boxing skills.

- I rate Floyd's defense equal to that of Pep and Locche, but i rank Whitaker's defense as better.

- If Floyd beats Duran at 135, it would be in a similar manner to how he beat Castilloin fight number two and how SRL did it in fight number 2.

- To say Floyd would **** Duran up is the height of ignorance. Duran beat Barkley at middle weight when he (Duran) was fat and out of prime. Watch Toney vs Barkley to get an idea of how big Barkley was at MW. The onyl fighter to ever really *** Duran up was Hearns and he may aswell have thrown a grenade in his mouth because that punch would have put a hole in a tank.

Pacquiao has the edge in hand speed, mobility and workrate.

Prime for prime on their best night they have similar stamina, but i'd have to give the edge to Pacquiao.
