The fact that a guy like David Haye was considered a real threat and a legitimate opponent even in the words of Steward ‘Wlads most dangerous opponent’ is testament to how bad the heavyweight division is beating a cruiser weight with a big mouth in yet another boring fight means extremely little in terms of legacy and even less in terms of ATG status.

I don't think their is a GOAT HW per say, but both Klits are defiantly up there. People complain about their comp but some people act like they can bring back ATG/HOF HW's from the past. They can only control wants in front of them, and so far they have completely dominated and embarrassed their competition.

Also, I'm a huge Tyson fan (my favorite fighter of all-time) but guys like him, Holmes, Holyfield, Frazier, Louis etc would stand absolutely no chance against either Klitschko.

People should put their hate and biased opinions aside and realize that we are watching two of the greatest HW's in the history of boxing.

Quitalis best win is Corrie ****ing Sanders and Wlad has been KTFO by burger boys - these guys really aren't ATGs.

His strongest point is the jab.. Fraizer/Tyson have the ability to bob and weave and get inside were Klitschko is incredibly weak and take him out

Exactly. I think it shows a level of stylistic ignorance to say that. When i look at the way Wlad likes to fight (particularly early) Tyson is the worst matchup for him i can think of out of any HW that ever lived, and much more so than Frazier because of the speed he had.

What great fighter did Larry Holmes ever beat? What great heavyweight in their prime did Mike Tyson ever score a victory over? I mean,if we're to use the logic of certain posters in this thread,then neither of these two could be considered as all time great heavyweight.Or perhaps - just perhaps - both men are rated as highly as they are based on their dominance of the division in their respective era's.



Should we start rating Buster Douglas and Oliver McCall above Wladimir Klitschko,too? After all,both men hold wins over two heavyweights that are universally regarded as being two of the greatest fighters in the divisions history.

It all depends on who is around....but i don know that the guys Tyson fought and beat are better than the guys Wlad has fought. Anyway i'm looking at it from a stylistic viewpoint. Wlad likes to fight at a distance, he could never establish it against Tyson.

Sorry but unlike you I dont nuthug old school fighters in an attempt to look like a knowledgable poster/earn points on this website.

The only HW in any era that I would favor over either are Ali and Lennox Lewis. Anyone else, the kilts dominate.

Also all those ATG/HOF HW fighters have just as bad of losses on their record as well....so what's your point?

Larry Holmes and Joe Louis fought quite a few bums in their time.
So did Tyson.

Holyfield would probably get beaten. He doesn't deal that well with someone who jabs well and consistently. Louis is alot smaller, but he has Wlad in the skills department, but was 10x better against aggressive fighters moving in so i'm not sure as Wlad likes to hang back and jab. However your Tyson comment can't go unchallenged. Stylistically Tyson is a computer printout of what Wlad should not fight.....he would get KO'd within 3 rds.

As soon as Tyson got inside Wlad would either tie up, muscle him around, or push him back out of range. No way Tyson would be able to get inside because Wlad is way too strong and crafty.

I see Wlad slowing Mike down, and taking him in the late rounds were Mike was known to fade (due to his stamina issues).

Sure Mike could score a knockout, but Wlad would be too cautious and crafty early in the fight to allow that to happen.

Wlad by a boring (what you guys refer to it) 12 round lopsided unanimous decision.

Tyson inside was an animal.. Haye has ZERO inside game hence he kept falling down.. Wlad also has zero inside game. Tyson is faster/Hits harder/has a better chin then Haye and also has the skill set to get inside
