You guys sure are easy to stop backing your guy.

Haye went out there with the Valuev gameplan, could'nt risk getting hit by a big punch from Wlad, which is smart. He tried to land bombs on Wlad, even in the 12th. Never looked to me as if he'd decide to last it out and get his check like most of Wlads opponents. I hope he keeps on fighting. He could still fight The Nipple, Chambers, Povetkin and get another shot.

I've never really liked Haye, but at least he got in the ring against Wlad & made heavyweight boxing exciting again for a few months. I don't like his crude trash talking like calling Wlad a '****head' but again, at least he sold the fight and lived up to his 'bad boy' persona.

If he really did have an injured toe then i guess it would explain why he didn't throw more in the fight, i would have expected him to go out swinging and i was impressed with his chin, i honestly thought that big right would've knocked him clean out.

I'm not ashamed of David Haye, just disappointed, and if he does retire i think he will go down as yet another 'what if' fighter, guys who had all the tools but for whatever reason never quite made it.

I expected it to be cagey for the duration of the fight, and it proved true. Haye was up against insurmountable odds, and couldn't find a way to nullify the jab, height, and reach of Klitschko. He could have let more punches go, but hey, I'm sure he did his best.

To be honest, I was impressed with a lot of Haye's work. He made Klitschko miss and showed some good slickness, even troubling with the big right on occasion. Considering I expected Haye to get knocked out within 4 rounds, he did much better than anticipated.

Haye lost to a great champion and has nothing to be ashamed of.
          Good post

No, he never let me down, he fought to the best of his ability but was soundly beaten by the better man. Wlad's style was effective enough to nullify everything Haye had.

His chin did hold up far better than i thought. I never dreamed this one was going the distance with those chins and all that power in there

I genuinely feel sorry for the people who spent thousands of pounds of their hard earned cash, traveled all that way and sat in the p*ssing down rain to watch someone run, throw himself to the floor and complain to the ref.

The fight was bad enough but his post-fight comments where he blamed his little toe has made him the laughing stock of boxing.

I just hope nobody take what this idiot says seriously anymore. He has conned alot of people out of millions and millions of pounds. His last 2 fights have been farces.

The pre fight trash talking is part & parcel, it was what HW boxing was missing, Haye through it a lifeline. The ref was shocking, don't think I've ever seen a fighter tie up so long uncontested than Wlad in the 12th. Haye could still be competitive in the division and make for some exciting fights. Props to Wlad his style is effective & the way he conducts himself makes it difficult to dislike him, Haye needs to maybe put on another stone of muscle and fight a few fights to get used to it and hopefully get another rematch.
