Does hatton get close enuff to PBF....

...and use his pressuring tactics to beat him or does PBF simply pick him off with superior skills??

It's tough to call. I still haven't seen Floyd handle a top tier 140 pounder like Hatton handled Tszyu. I think Hatton's going to get close to Floyd, and rough him up a bit.

Hatton by UD12. That's my call IF they ever fight.

    There's no denying Hatton's talent...he beat ZOO!!!!

I'm not just saying this because I'm a Hatton fan... But I don't know if there's another fighter out there at the moment that is as good as Hatton at closing the distance.

I've watched almost every Hatton fight, and before the fight they all say that they'll box him on the outside or that they'll pop a jab in his face to keep him away.

I've not seen one fighter successfull at this yet.

I reckon Hatton can get to Floyd. Fingers crossed for the 2006' SUMMER MEGA FIGHT!!!

I thought zoo would outbox him, and it didn't work out. Zoo hit him with some pretty powerful shots, but Hatton just seemed to walk through them like they are nothing. Only thing that troubles me is how easily Floyd can move from the inside to the outside with his footwork. He is one of the quickest fighters ever, and his defence is just insane. His punch output is fairly low though, so that's why I'm picking Hatton.

I really really really want this fight to happen!

I know not many people will agree with me on this, but I think Mayweather is an easier fight for Hatton some of the others out there. - (Not because I think Mayweather is crap, I don't! I think he's excellent! But because Hatton would be MUCH stronger, and would force Mayweather into fighting Hatton's fight).

I'm still not convinced with Mayweather at 140lbs yet... And Hatton spent most of his amatuer career in the 140lbs division.

Styles make fights, and Hatton's style would give Mayweather nightmares!

Stylistically Hatton gives everyone fits. I was actually amazed at how fast he closed the distance against zoo. Tszyu could never land his patented straight right hand with full force because Hatton was always coming with full steam ahead. Only thing I have to knock Hatton about is his clinching. He clinched ALOT in the Zoo fight and even though it may be entertaining for English or UK Fans when he fights, clinching isn't fun to watch for me, and at times the fight was boring.

Hatton UD12...everyone remember I said this.

I think this fight would look pretty close to Gatti - Floyd.

Personally, I think Floyd is at his best when he doesn't have to chase an opponent. He's one of the best counter-punchers in boxing. And with his defense, I don't Hatton will get a clean shot on him.

                I pick PBF UD12

The Tszyu fight was the most I've ever seen Hatton clinching. I think it's because he didn't want to leave anything to chance with Tszyu.

He usually get's close, moves around and throws a body assault.

If they ever fight (which I'm doubtful) Hatton will be exposed as just an slightly above average fighter. In my opinion Hatton isn't better than JLC & I see him getting schooled. Hatton has had 1 fight at the top level so I'm not sold on him till he beats either Cotto or Vivian Harris and he could lose to either fighter.
