The Haye fight was the most publicised fight of Wlad's career because of the immense amount of trash-talk Haye did, but to call it his signature win is pure nonsense.

Wins over Byrd, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Peter etc were much more impressive in terms of quality.

Not to mention Chambers, Rahman, Brewster

You don't make the decisions. Haye will always be seen as Wlads biggest fight (super fight) and his defining fight as a champion. Comparable to Tyson vs Spinks, but the huge difference being Tyson got Spinks out early and Wlad couldn't finish the show and was hurt himself in the last round. So much for your all time great. lol

That's how poor Haye was in the eye of a casual fan.
really just shows how little the casual fan understands teh sweet science. like alot of ppl on this site they probably think haye didnt give it his all bcuz he was moving alot and not throwing much, but that couldnt be further from the truth.

its wlads good, not hayes bad. wlad shut hayes offense down by controling range and not letting haye get close. when haye did get close wlad used his superior strenght and pushed down on him so he couldnt let his hands go.

when haye realized he couldnt get to wlad he tried to counter instead and tried to set traps for wlad, but wlad was too smart and didnt walk into anything. haye did the right thing not getting carried away cuz he wouldve been knocked out himself, better to stay in the fight and keep trying to create opening intelligently.

haye fought well, not his best performance but not a bad one either. wlad was just excellent so give him his props, he hasnt had alot of quality oponents to prove his worth against but he did it last night.

Most people I spoke to expected Haye to lose anyway. I said he had no chance, and saw him getting knocked out anytime from the 9th onwards. I also said I support him, and just hope he puts on a good fight, he didn't.

I wouldn't mind so much if he went tooth and nail, and got KOed along the way. Now he's a bit of a laughing stock though. Before the "respect him for stepping in the ring" line, I'd step in there with Wlad for 10 million and just hope he KOes me as quickly as possible, lol.

Tyson vs Spinks wasn't Tyson's biggest fight you moron, he had bigger ones vs Holyfield, Lewis and to a lesser extent a more significant one vs Douglas, and we all know how they turned out.

A not so enthralling UD will never be regarded as a signature win by any respected boxing scholar.

Fights in which he put his opponents to sleep with a single shot, or mercilessly beat them into submission (Chambers, Chagaev etc) are more defining fights.

Yeah defining fights are based on WHO you beat not whichever win makes you look good. To be honest I assume at least over half the people who watched the fight never heard of either Chambers or Chagaev so this will clearly be Wlad's most remembered fight whether you like it or not.

                  LOL!

look i know u dont liek haye and dont want to give him credit, but have some common sense. saying childish things like this just kill any credibility u had left as a poster.

rahman was completely shot, he had nothing. chambers quit the first time he got hit, haye fought defensively but he was trying to set wlad up all along, chambers just quit. haye would destroy him if they ever fought.

brewster was coming of a long layoff from a serious injury and took the fight on short notice, anyone who knows boxing can tell he wasnt his old self in teh second fight with wlad. another garbage win.

peter? dude has no skills, haye would destroy him too. hell that bum just got knocked cold by that bum helenius lmao.

its biased and delusional klitschko fans like u that make ppl not want to give them credit. so next time u are *****ing they dont get their props and pulling teh race card even though it makes no sense.. just point your finger at the mirror instead.

Signature win? Please... only in the minds of delusional Brits like yourself. His wins against undefeated world champions in their primes like Ibragimov and Chagaev are way better. Even his wins against the likes of Mercer are better testament to Wlad's legacy. Gayevid was/is good at HW and great at CW but overall, he is no different than 10 or so world champs Wlad beat. I am just glad Wlad showed what a scared vagina Gayevid, flopping around like a dead fish half the fight, then blamin his pinky toe!!! LOL He disgraced the Union Jack he was wearing with that performance.

Lewis was Tyson's most "remembered" opponent, is that also his defining fight? ****** English ******. Defining fights are measured by quality of opposition and also the manner of victory. If Louis boxed himself to a boring 15 rounds decision vs Schmeling in their second fight, that would not be his defining fight in retrospect.

Take a seat and learn from your superior, kid.
