roy's chin? he dont got one..!
Let's talk about... Roy's chin

People talk about him taking good shots from a heavyweight... I don't recall Ruiz landing anything substantial.
Forget all the "he went 50 contests"... someone work on the stats of how many times he took serious shots and how well he took them. I'm not saying his chin is glass but even Wlad rips the piss out of him behind his back.Comment

hmm
Ruiz landed substanial shots in that fight that would have KO'd someone with as weak a chin as Jones has, according to you guys. I've seen the fight 6 or 7 times as well as every other fight of his, so no, he does not have a weak chin nor was it ever even brought up until he ****ed his body up in 2004.Comment

I disagree. He just has naturally faster reflexes than everybody else and that's what he relied on, but his talent is over-rated. He's a great athletic talent sure, but his technical skills are awful.Originally posted by Diablohe has all the talent in the world but has no chin and no heart.
he's a wasted talent.
He's an over-achiever.. so I wouldn't say he's a waste, smart is the word.Comment

kid achilles, why is it dat wen a natural light heavy has a weak chin u leave it at dat but wen a middleweight movies up to lightheavy u say dats the reason for his weak chin? u can be naturally 300lbs and have a weak chin and be naturally 200lbs and have a granite chinComment

Roy has always been a smart boxer but with his reflexes, handspeed, etc. I think he could have been more. Maybe he was so cautious during his career because he was hiding his glass jaw. Thats the only feasible explanation for the way Roy ran his boxing career.Comment
