    Haye can't possibly consider retirement...

...after that pathetic attempt to back up his trash talking. He would be labeled as a joke forever. He should either return to Cruiserweight to kick Huck and Cunningham's ass, or fight the lesser elite HWs like Povetkin, *******, etc. and perhaps when he gains more experience, go after the K Brothers again. He just simply wasn't as ready as his trash talk made it seem like he was. He has all the gifts in the world, but doesn't know how to use them at all. He also showed that his chin isn't bad at all. He was only hurt once, and that shot clearly would have hurt anybody, especially after seeing the huge mark it left on his forehead.

I do think his performance was VERY s**tty at all and I only gave him three rounds. BUT I will say that it wasn't because of how bad he did. Its the fact that he's as quick, strong and gifted as he is and was not able to use that as an advantage. If a guy like Arreola was as gifted as he is, he would have put on a MUCH better performance.

He also needs to switch coaches. Booth is overrated as hell. Even Sky pointed out how his ego got too big after Groves BARELY squeaked by DeGale. A guy like Roach would give him a crisper jab and teach him how to properly use his right hand so he isn't throwing it like an idiot, hoping it lands.

Pathetic showing? What did you suggest a guy with his chin do against a guy like Wlad.

Haye moved, he boxed, he wasnt hit much. He just didnt do enough to win the fight. People are going overboard as if he Haye just laid down. Thats ****in bullshyt he fought til the last bell. LITERALLY.

Does anyone honestly want to see him again? I think its best if he does retire. He was a great cruiserweight champion but he is clearly too small to fight at heavyweight. Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing him again if he goes back to cruiserweight and fights the top fighters in that division.

He's currently training a clown who got dropped by Willie fricken Limond and KTFO by a C class fighter lol and look how good Khan is now.

Not to mention he's also training the laughable Chavez Jr and made him much better too (although he still isn't much at the moment).

He can retire with his millions made from Valuev/Ruiz/Audley/Wlad and be the pretty boy celebrity he wants to be.

He wasn't interested in becoming undisputed heavyweight champion tonight.

Fixed your post for ya. I'm sure he trained his ass off, but fought exactly the same as he normally would and came with a s**t game plan. And his chin isn't even that bad. The one shot Wlad wobbled him with wasn't on the chin, and he recovered well anyways. Plus judging on the huge mark it left, that would have wobbled anybody.

He obviously didn't come to win tonight. Throwing sloppy right hands for 36 minutes isn't coming to win. And throwing 10 punches per round while avoiding Wlad's right hands isn't either. You make it seem like its cool do nothing just so you don't get knocked out. Ever heard of taking chances? If that's what it takes to have a shot at winning, then that's what you do. I'm pretty sure Kevin Johnson could do the exact same thing Haye did tonight. Taking chances, throwing more, setting up your shots properly, fighting on the inside and forcing Wlad to throw more punches would have been a MUCH better game plan.
