If he bends down to throw a body shot, he's leaving himself wide open to uppercuts and hooks. Wlad is a smart fighter. Why throw body shots if you don't need them?
Boxing is a sport that is supposed to be exciting to the fans. This is not going to encourage new fans. Wladimir fights are like Lewis vs Tua fights all the time. But at least Lennox WAS good from time to time.

Because he's tall, and he fight tall, he cannot throw any body shots? I find that hard to believe. I think he becomes too predictable when the only punches he throws are the jab, right cross and the left hook. How about a jab to the solar plexus? This would not compromise his defense..

When Wlad gets close to his opponent he can throw the body punch without leaving himself that open. Also, he's a biggest ****ing guy and I'm sure he could deliver a devistating body shot...

he would get countered with a left or right hook easily. his brother can afford to do so because of his solid chin, if he did it could seriously hurt him

early in his career he did, although he lacked power, his speed, percision and accuracy really hurt his opponents.
