Chico to retire at 30

Many boxers have said that they will retire at this age, but it will never happen. They all come back for the money. I hope Chico fights until 32 or 33 then retire & never come.

I didnt enjoy the first one has much has most people did, because the whole time I was wondering why Corrales didnt move away from Castillo, all they did was stand in the middle of the ring, and trade shots. I enjoyed Corrales/Casamayor much more because it was more of a real boxing match...Corrales is capable of moving around, and Casamayor outboxed Castillo fairly easily..so why not box him?

Don't worry, you'll see that on Saturday, despite what Corrales says. He's trying to sell it as another war, and its all because he knows it will get more buys that way. Don't believe the hype.

edit: as far as retiring by 30 goes... I'm all for it. If any boxer is able to get out of the game with their brains in tact, then good for them, because very few accomplish this.

If he is....he'll be a much harder puncher & better fighter than Torres, who almost KO'd Cotto.

If Cotto has the same defensive holes he showed against Torres, & Corrales carries his punch with him...YOU are the idiot for thinking Cotto would be standing.

I watched Cotto Torres last night. I would think that Cotto would be hesitant to throw hooks to the body against Corrales...
I was really surprised at how ordinary Cotto looked at times, even though I don't think he's as good as some people think.

if he shows his power carries over to 140, he still wouldnt knock cotto out.

you're assuming cotto wouldnt knock HIM out. corrales isnt exactly iron-jawed. sure, he gets up and wont stay down, but cotto's only been down once, and he had to be PULLED down, even after eating leather over and over.

if it was corrales in the ring with torres, corrales would've been down a couple times.
