LMAO@ him being bet to the favorite in the British books. These guys are so desprate for a winner. The only thing saving British boxing is Froch, the rest are tune ups. The Kell Brooks and Cleverlys of the world are just being prepped to lose to a world class fighter. Mere stepping stones. British boxing is Disgraceful.

Fair enough his toe is pretty visably messed up but he should of pulled out as soon as that happend but the fact he didn't makes it werse to me id rather him pull out then excuses was he out classed NO not at all he was beaten on the night and well done to wladimir he stuck to it ...
However i'd still like to see haye vs vitali either to see haye get his revenge or to see vitali punish the prick badley i think haye ows his fans something and getting destroyed off vitali would be ideal for me.
My head always knew wladimir would win but being english i wanted haye to win obviously but i will never except his lame excuses no matter how valid they are after the fight he should of pulled out and for that he deserved to get ko'd.
But definitley not out classed thats for sure would like to see haye vs vitali.Comment

Please let's not even hear any talk of a "rematch". Haye didn't do anything to earn the title shot, and he didn't do anything in the ring to prove he belonged there.
Haye's free ride is over. He can't talk himself into any more megafights. He can either take this giant paycheque and retire, or start having a real heavyweight career. A real career would mean he fights real opponents, not just tomato cans who agree to take a decent payday in their final fight to play the straight man in the David Haye show.
Haye's empire built on hype has come crashing down because he didn't live up to his boasting, and the other fights he's been in over the past three years were garbage. Perhaps he doesn't care that he had no real heavyweight career worth talking about. He talked on and on about his "legacy", but that legacy is limited to being a pretty good amateur and then a brief run of success in the very weak cruiserweight division. Five years from now, the name "David Haye" will mostly be remembered about the same as the name "Eddie Chambers".
Haye could change that if he decides to stick around and fight real fights against Adamek, Povetkin, Boytsov, Helenius, and other real top heavyweights. I'd much rather watch those guys fight amongst themselves than see them avoid each other while one pseudo-challenger after another is picked to be on the receiving end of a routine Wladimir schooling.Comment

A broken or badly damaged toe would have a huge effect on your performance.
It is either an plausible but unproven excuse, or genuine justification.
