    Corrales mouthpiece solution

No, the solution is not superglue

The referee should carry a spare mouthpiece for each fighter. If the mouthpiece comes out, the referee puts in the clean one out of his pocket, kicks the dirty one out of the ring and the fight goes on with almost no delay. Heck, carry two spares for each fighter and maybe Castillo would be the defending champ for the rematch.

Hopefully the rematch doesn't have any controversial moments, but I haven't heard of anything done to anticipate another mouthpiece delay strategy.

**** giving the fighter a mouthpiece, if he deliberately spits the mouthpiece he either fights with no mouth piece or the ref calls the fight after 1 warning.

If the fight played out the exact same way and Corrales did the same exact things he did in the first fight I would bet anything that the second spitting of the mouthpiece would be the last, the fight would absolutly positively have to be called at that point...

Either that or Diego should just be given 25 seconds to rise from a knockdown instead of 10.

boxing rules should not be "adjusted" when certain fighters fight.
If that was the case, Tyson opponents should have been fitted with earmuffs after his fight with Holyfield!

I just had this image of the ref spitting into a hankerchief and rubbing it on the boxer's cheek as well, like a mother would .

After what happened I don't think any fighter is going to be abel to get away with what Corrales did anymore. But high marks to him for doing whatever it took to win.
