It's not even got anything to do with Germany. Haye's limited punch output and Wlad's superior boxing skills are what makes it impossible to win a decision in this fight.

i havent noticed hometown decisions in germany being any worse than those in say - oakland or sweden or anywhere else

that whole phenomenon is accepted in boxing in a way thats not present in any other sport

however, germany is gonna have nothing to do with haye losing if it goes to the cards... come on......... can anyone even the blindest haye fan seriously see haye outboxing wlad all night

Haye throws around 1/2 the punches Wlad does yet he still gets the nearly universal nod as the "more exciting and active fighter"

          Never quite understood that

It's certainly unlikely but it's not infeasible. Haye might be able to deck Wlad with balance shots and taking him by surprise but might not wat or be able to clsoe the show.
Haye just doesn't have that kind of stamina. If he takes the route he did in the Valuev fight, he'll be jabbed silly. The only way Haye can win is to come out guns blazing IMO.

              Exactly Bat.

No one outboxes Wlad. In 15 plus years, I've never seen him outboxed.

Maybe outslugged on occasion, but never outboxed.

Pretty much, Haye is going to have to take the chances early before Wlad has gotten into his usual fight he imposes on everyone, which is also risky for Haye.

Wait for Gerber my man. That guy has undiscovered boxingskills and covert hittingpower.

Seriously. I am so fired up for this fight. Only thing is the rain. It has been raining all day. Glad I'm not in the stands lol.

He won't need to, Wlad will be a crumpled mess on the floor when the count reaches 10.

When Gerber becomes champ, I am gonna gloat bad, and you can back me up cuz I called it.

I am debating if I should not pay attention then watch the replay as I may not get to see this live.

At my age, and my mother succeeded in conning me into coming down to visit her today ( about 40km away)..... And she doesn't have HBO(ARRRRRRFGHHHHHHH)
