You must not have watched that fight because that cut was the ONLY thing stoping Lewis from getting KTFO

watched the fight and have it on video cassette recorded

lets not pretend like Vitali never shaked in the mid rounds when Lewis landed a cracking uppercut and Vitalis legs wobbled and he held on for dear life. Both fighters legs wobbled in that fight given the power of punches that were being thrown and the lack of defense. It was more like a backyard scarp than a boxing much

either man could have gone down with a blow, however vitalis lack of defense cost him the fight, both of them took the fight on short notice and it was evident there was no real game plan

lewis looked old and out of shape, but held his ground to win, that cut was nasty

The Peter KD's were #1) a rabbit pinch and completely illegal....#2) not a punch at all, but a MISSED lewft hook and a right glove grab and push down on Klitschko's shoulder. #3) a just missed or very slightly grazed rtd hand, wehen Klitschko, packpeddling very dfast, tripped back into the ropes and bounced to the canvas. He gor up immediately and continued with his boxing lesson. As you know he won every rd except for the fake KD's".

Even the commentators mentioned them. The ref was blind and ******.

The Sanders' KD's were more a huge head butt for the first one, at the same time as the punch, and which split his left eye. he was never KO'd but TKO'd kept getting up,wanting to continue.

The Purrity stoppage was by his corner after the 11th. he beat Purrity all over the ring for 10 rds. It was at the end of his 2nd year as a pro , age about 21-22, and his 25th fight in that short time. He weighed only about 220.

In other words he had very good reasons for all the KD's none of which had to do with either his chin or his skills. it's more than about time even the DUMBOS admitted this.

You don't need to make excuses for Wlad's knockdowns - his defense has gone from below average to astounding and he went from a nervous shy fighter to a disciplined machine, being a late bloomer doesn't lower his rating to me at all

And more importantly, Lewis got KTFO by questionable competition too, so, if comparing the two on a career-long scale, how is it even a factor? They're pretty much tied in that area

Vitali however is in his own league and an ATG heavyweight

Nobody can even say jack **** about him or point out any flaws (sans his time off for injuries) so they go straight to belittling his opponents (who before he beat them, they were hyping, or when lewis fought them, were serious threats). He's, to me, the most fascinating modern boxer to watch in slow motion and mimic his technique, if you made him a foot shorter he would still be a champion in some division just via his parrying & countering technique

wlad and lewis are interesting to watch but just "good", don't let the quantity of meaningless belts they've collected propel them any higher

sadly, haye has hyped this fight so much that when Wlad knocks his socks off he will totally eclipse his more talented brother's career, that's how boxing and life in general works

Vitali didn't buckle or wobble at all. He was well on his way to stopping Lewis. It was a lucky occurance that Lennox opened cuts on Vitali because without that he loses.

vitali beat on lewis, go watch the actual fight instead of listening to third party accounts from "yo dawgz"

he was winning on every card until a cut that affected his vision then being denied an obvious rematch - theres no room for opinion here, those are just facts, where as everything in your post is opinion

now for opinion since theyve never fought; as far as wlad being better than vitali, right now when vitali is over 40? yes

any other time, no, simply because wlad has to keep his distance and vitali dominates everywhere, outfighting, infighting, clinching, doesnt matter, hes always beating his opponent up and cant be knocked down, nobody has truly figured out how to beat vitali, his "losses" were stuff no betting man would consider losses during their research, only emotional fans scraping for dirt

                    vitali > wlad > lewis

wlad vs lewis would be closer than vitali vs lewis was, which was really just vitali beating on lewis before the cut then being denied a rematch, he straight up had his number and was a bad style matchup for him
Sorry, everything else is correct, but the cut did NOT affect his vision one little bit. The imbecile dr said he thought he couldn't open his eyelid and was blind in that eye, so stopped the fight. He then made a different excuse later.
